Ohio State’s Corey Brown named to preseason awards lists

Nowadays, All-Delco Corey Brown (Cardinal O’Hara) is garnering award recognition on the  national level.

The Ohio State standout isup for the Biletnikoff Award, which goes to the best WR in college football.

Earlier this month, Brown was named a candidate for the Paul Hornung Award, which goes to the most versatile player in college football.

In high school, Brown was always considered an athlete without a true position, and he paved the way for comparables Damiere Shaw and Thadd Smith at O’Hara, both of whom are taking similar roads to college football.

Brown was the Daily Times Male Athlete of the Year in 2010.
